| Added BudaCom
page - effectively a
communications center. It
contains links to Buda5 message
board, as well
various Buda5 team
members' e-mail
addresses. I also added a
link to BudaCom from
every single page of
Buda5 site. The other
update is added version
numbers to all ship models
in their pages. All
current texured models
are version 1.0 and the
untextured one is 0.5.

Updated the omega-x,
omega destroyer and
shadow battlecrab. These
are not yet in the model
pack, so you must
download them separately
from the models
page.
A new version of the
Infinity War is now
available for download.
The changes to the
previous version are: no
more half-omegas or
omega-xes floating
around, some new ships
can be seen and two new
special events. Make sure
you have the above
mentioned models
installed before you try
it.
Also updated the FAQ.

| Added updated Whitestar
pack (now with a custom
tailored model and a
better low level model).
Also put back Maril's
Raider Battlewagon,
which had disappeared
mysteriously. If you
have any voice acting
talent, contact Hotfoot.
If you don't have any
talent, contact him as
well - you might get a
fine job as an alien. So
all girls,
boys, androids: make the
announcement of your
willinges via e-mail, or
the good old message
board.
This update was made
under groovy influence of
The
Sisters of Mercy.

| Finished the look of models
section. If you want to
make comments or
suggestions - or even
take part in our
conversion -, let me
remind of the Buda5 -message
board.

| Changed "Loading
Missions" part of installation
page to address both
loading individual
missions and campaign.
Yes, a ready
mini-campaign isn't all
that far away, altough
there is some honing
left. Moved old updates
to new archive
page.

Happy new Millennium!
Due to complaints about the
complexity of installing Buda5,
I've produced a model
pack. This model pack
contains all the Buda5
models, textures and .shp files,
meaning installation should now
be a doddle.
I've updated the F.A.Q to contain
information on the installation
of the model pack, and playing of
Buda5.
Check ya later ;-) |

|
| Merry Christmas! Here is a
little Christmas gift for all you
Buda5'ers out there: Santa Claus
Starfury! I also updated the
FAQ and install pages. Check them
out. Also note that the
filenames for the shadow fighter
and the whitestar must be changed
to make the infinity war mission
work. Check the Buda5
forum for details.
I'll be going away for
Christmas so this will be my last
update for a while.

| F.A.Q.
has been written. It will be
expanded later if new questions
appear. Added the installing
info page, which contains a three
step guide to installing Buda5.
Buda5 Infinity War mission has
been added to the missions
-section. It is a simple
variation of the original
infinity war - battle against
infinite hordes of Shadows,
Vorlons, Raiders and Clarke's
advanced destroyers.
Fixed some typos. :-)

|
|
| Updated models
section. All the current
models should be here
now, as well all low
detail models and .shp
-files. I also corrected
the typos I found and
updated some screenshots. This
is probably my last
update in this millennium
(wiseacres need not
comment). I'm going away
for Christmas.

| F.A.Q.
and resources
-sections updated. Don't
think that I wrote the
FAQ itself tough - I
didn't. I merely put some
informational links and brief
description of what Buda5
is. The latter has both
some files related to
game editing and links
that are relevant to
Buda5 in one form or
another. I've left
uploading missions, once
they are ready, up to
Indie, since he's the one
who has made them. He
also promised to write
the FAQ.

| Ok, I think I can declare the
site opened although it isn't
quite finished yet. Anyways, all
the pages are there, and almost
all ship models are uploaded. So
welcome! I hope the all the pages
have content soon. Some of the
models pages have quite a few
pictures, but that shouldn't be a
big problem since I have defined
each image's size in HTML. If you
are having troubles with the
site, e-mail
me. ps. Meanwhile you could
for instance read P. Craig
Russell's beautiful comics
adaptation of Moorcock's Elric
book "Stormbringer".
